The NC State Women’s Ice Hockey Club was established in 2019 and is a member of the Women’s Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League (WACCHL). The program competed in the first-ever ACCHL women’s game in February of 2020 and also in an abbreviated 2020-2021 season. The team went on to win the 2022 WACCHL Championship.

We have developed relationships with other teams at surrounding schools, including UNC system schools, the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, High Point University, George Washington University, and Georgetown University.

Ever since, our team has continued to expand. If you’re a current or incoming NC State student, we’d love to have you! Check out the form under recruits on our Get Involved page! We’re open to all levels — our goal is to spread our passion for our sport and grow as a team.

The Women’s Ice Hockey Club at NC State is a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation to support the team, please check out our Get Involved page.
