The NC State Women’s Ice Hockey Club was established in 2019 and are members of the Women’s Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League. The program competed in the first ever ACCHL women’s game in February of 2020 and also in an abbreviated 2020-2021 season. The team went on to win the 2022 WACCHL Championship last season, and are continuing their pursuit of a second championship title.
As with any new program, we are growing as we go. Our players are not just NC State students, we have students from UNC Chapel Hill, Meredith College and Wake Tech. We are given available slots every year to accept students from other schools, so even if you aren’t a Pack Student, contact us anyways! We are always looking to add talent to our team!
We have developed relationships with the other organizations at surrounding schools, schools like University of Virginia, VirginiaTech, HighPoint University, George Washington University, Georgetown University. Live in the greater Raleigh area and love hockey but think life is taking you to a different school? That’s ok! Our number #1 goal is to grow the sport of hockey. Need an introduction?
