In the COVID shortened 2020-2021 season the NC State women’s hockey team played 3 games. All three were against the Virginia Tech, a new team and the only other WACCHL team permitted to play
In game 1, the first game ever hosted by our program, 4 different players scored for the Pack in an 11-0 victory. This exciting game marked the first ever win in program history.
The team travelled up to Virginia Tech two weeks later for a rematch. In another dominate performance, the team put up 13 goals to win 13-1.
The WACCHL Tournament in Winston-Salem rounded out the season schedule. In a hard fought championship game, the team fell 9-7 to Virginia Tech.
It was a both a successful and historic season for the club.
